Licensing, trials & refunds.

Any and all presets and samples which you purchase from my store are covered by a license which expressly forbids resale or other distribution of the Products or their derivatives, either as they exist in the library, reformatted for use in another sampler, or mixed, combined, filtered, re-synthesised or otherwise edited, for use as sounds, multi-sounds, samples, multi-samples, sound sets, programmes or patches in a sampler, microchip, computer or any sample playback device.

The Products are licensed to you, the purchaser, only. Please feel free to use them on all of your computers but you are expressly forbidden from giving or lending them to someone else for their use.

Essentially, please use my samples and presets in your music, please charge money for this music and feel free to pursue a copyright claim on anyone else who copies bits or all of your music. Do not chop up or process my presets and or samples in order to make your own sample or preset packs.

Trials & Refunds etc.

As yet I haven't managed to develop an easy way for the packs to be playable in some way, via a browser perhaps, so you can fully try before you buy. In some cases I have offered customers to download a pack they are interested in, or a couple they are choosing between to try before they buy (or not). It's not a problem as long as this doesn't become abused, I know with sample libraries it's hard to know if the pack will be what you hope without buying it. In all cases if you purchase one of my packs and are unhappy or it isn't what you hoped please do get in touch, refunds do cost me money because of the paypal fees involved which are not refunded to me, but I would far rather my customers were happy and will always refund your money when asked.
I'm always open to suggestions in terms of ways of offering trial versions, perhaps cut down taster packs are a useful idea, let me know if so although I'd find it hard to pick which presets to feature and it is extra work to create these alternative versions.
